Atom's policy is to produce world class innovative, affordable, and quality products, that will serve their owners many years of productive and enjoyable use; and to continually develop Atom products.

Atom invests heavily in Research and Development and maintaining its full time in-house R & D department. Atom's technical team utilises the most up to date computer design programs.

All Atom products are rigorously and punishingly tested, both in the factory and in field conditions before they are put onto the market, thus ensuring long life and withstanding tough conditions.

The tough reinforced polymer components used in Atom products are so strong, they have been stress tested to withstand up to 680kg (1500lbs) of weight. This ensures that Atom products will still be working in years to come when other brands have already worn out.

As well as innovation, durability, and long life, safety is a major factor when we design and develop our products.

All Atom products exceed Australian, US and European safety standards, and include many other safety features which other brands do not have (see individual models).

Atom's unique Automatic Reverse Gear Chainsaw Drilling Attachments are the only drills in the world to have the Auger-Stop, which automatically disconnects forward gear if the auger suddenly jams (similar to a chainsaw chain brake), and still have its automatic reverse gear to immediately withdraw the auger from the timber (forward drilling can then safely recommence).

All Atom's Lawn Edgers and Tiller/Cultivators also have many unique safety features.

All reinforced polymer used in our products are recyclable. However, Atom products are quality engineered so they can be used for many years. This means there is no wastage as when buying several other branded products that only last a short period of time.

Because Atom lawn edgers are very manoeuvrable and have a unique 3.5:1 gear reduction, Atom is able to deliver more power and utilise the longest lawn edger blades
(10 ²/₃" - 271mm) compared to other brands.

Other brand edging devices are much slower to use, are less efficient, and longer engine running time is needed to do the edging. This results in these other brands using much more fuel and produce more exhaust emissions.

Because Atom lawn edgers are up to 90% faster to finish the job the than other edging devices, the result is that Atom Lawn Edgers use as little as 80% less fuel than other lawn edger brands.
